About this concert
De Zuid-Afrikaanse multi-instrumentalist Justin-Lee Schultz (2007) is een absolute virtuoos op toetsen, gitaar, bas en zang – we mogen hem dus gerust een muzikaal wonderkind noemen (ook al is hij dit jaar volwassen geworden). In 2023 verscheen Schultz’ tweede album Just In The Moment, waarop hij (in samenwerking met onder anderen Robert Glasper en Dave Koz) wederom een soepel swingende mix van jazz, funk en r&b presenteert. Maar belangrijker nog dan zijn immense talent is het ongebreidelde speelplezier dat Schultz en zijn band tentoonspreiden, ook vanavond in onze Cloud Nine!

Born in Johannesburg, South Africa he came in contact with music for the first time, when he learned to play keyboards in an unbelievable age of 5 years. After six months he played like a graduate of an university. By the way Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart also started to compose in the same age.
