Mano Biography
Mano, a Middle Eastern inspired hard rock band from Chicago, combines contemporary, classical, and world music, fused by a rock rhythm section and classical instrumentation, bringing you a uniquely energetic live performance. They will take you through a variety of musical textures and sounds tied together by thematic unison lines contrasted by sections of virtuosic improvisation. Mano is: Joe LaRocca (lead composer) on flute, Najeeba Syed on electric violin, Desiree Miller on cello, Greg Firak on guitar, Parker Grogan on bass, and Collin O’ Brien on drums.
