CARSEX

CARSEX is an underground Rock n’ Roll band from Long Beach, CA. The name describes much of the sound. Sleazy, primitive, uncomfortable & just as good as your friends told you it’d be.

With influences spanning from early (L.A.) punk such as the Circle Jerks/Black Flag & the Germs, to the Doors & Danzig, plus more modern monsters like Queens of the Stone Age, Murder City Devils & Fu Manchu. It’s hard to put a definite strike on the sound or pin-point exactly what’s going on with that strange feeling in your pants without interpreting it for yourself.

CARSEX is very much a live band. The pure degradation of the stage and sexually charged, exorcism-esque energy of the performance sets a ritual scene that one has to be a part of to fully understand. The heart pounding drums & bass that could blow the clothes off anything with legs, screaming guitars with solos that go both ways and howling vocals that turn speaking in tongues into English.
