Val Air is great. The band was good, but I expect more from them. The songs sounded like just from the album. Nothing extra. Jam the f... out. Bring more energy. The end of the show has more energy than the rest of show. Good lights. He had a great voice. Some decent musicians, but I expect more from a band.

The reason this review is 4 and not 5 stars is because i also purchased the VIP package. The concert was amazing and the band put on a really good show. JJ’s voice alone is worth making the trip to see them.
However, the VIP package was underwhelming for the price of the tickets. I would expect a professional photographer for the meet and greet photos and more than one song for the acoustic “sound check”.
All in all, great concert

Now that was a proper rock concert. The audience was lively and the support band, Shane Smith & The Saints ramped up another couple of notches with a fabulous set - will be seeking out their albums. Then came the main act and Kaleo were amazing, as they always are. A band of few words, which was good as we got more music. It was loud, rocking and the crowd lapped it up, only disappointment was that it was over so quickly and there was only one encore. Looking forward to their next tour already.

Incredible as always. Did miss the bongos and backing singers for the more soulful songs. Jjs voice and thors musical & harmonica skills bring any stage to life though. They are truly stunning live and I’m already looking forward to seeing them again next this they’re in Europe.
Meet and greet was very disappointing. 2 hours waiting in a freezing corridor with security and o2 staff constantly barging past without so much as a thank you smile. No water or drinks available at all - despite asking for a glass of tap water I was told “no, the bar isn’t open yet”. Bar didn’t open until 7.30 even though we had to arrive at 5pm. Couldn’t leave the venue to get food & drinks then return even though doors hadn’t even opened yet by the time the 2 minute meet and greet & 1 acoustic song had finished. JJ was lovely and friendly although he did look exhausted from the insane amount of shows and travelling. Overall I’m glad I did the M&G because I love KALEO and hearing automobile like that was epic but I’d definitely hesitate before booking another VIP experience at an o2 venue as the experience was anything but VIP.

This was the best concert I personally have ever attended. The band was amazing. Their music was even better in person. Also the management team is absolutely incredible. From Steve, to Cory, to Amanda, to Cat. Then JJ and the band, they all made my son the happiest I have ever seen him. He was an absolute fan, now he is a fan for life. These folks made him feel so special and treated him like a king. Definitely set the bar on expectations and experiences. They developed a lifetime of memories for him!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

This show was originally slated for Petco Park and due to reasons unknown, the venue was changed to Club Soma. That is a huge difference! I was expecting a bigger venue for a bigger name? I’m assuming they didn’t sell enough tickets?
Once KALEO finally came onstage, their show was short & sweet. It was good, but not great. Wasn’t really feeling the love!
And not only that, the venue itself had poor lighting, and multiple areas of uneven floors. I’m surprised a lot of people didn’t trip or roll their ankles! So, for these reasons, I give the show 3/5 stars! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️

The only way it would have been better is if I had my pre-multiple sclerosis mobility.
But the limitation provided accessibility accommodations better than I have had at ANY venue except my house.
My visibility was unobstructed. There was a chair with a back on it. THERE WAS A DESIGNATED BATHROOM!!!!!! and water refill station. Two in our party have bladder/bowel issues. This limitation usually causes much of any event or venue to be missed just for lengthy trips to find a restroom and then wait in the line.
A free tee shirt, signed by the band would have made it better. The much lines were too long to stand in.
My address if you do have any commemorative merch to send or want more review of the two improvements I can see.

This is my 6th time seeing Kaleo and I was underwhelmed. Don't get me wrong, I thought the show was good, but the bar was set the last time at Red Rocks. There were back up singers who were fantastic and the vibe was so much stronger at that one. I still love the band, but I was a little disappointed with the energy compared to the year before with the back ups. Outside of their homeland and maybe a festival where they are the back up, Red Rocks is probably the most people they play in front of that came specifically for them. Also, I was underwhelmed with the backup band both at Dillon and Red Rocks. I was bored with both. Great vocals but at least give us some drums for a beat I can get into. Ballads are boring and that's all I heard at both concerts. I'm a huge fan.

Great energy, top class performance, loved these guys, would recommend and definitely see them again. We were in the middle of the GA area and the mix was really poor, the bass guitar was a rumbly mess in the mud, no definition, lead guitar was panned way over to the left only and was brittle and thin sounding, no balls no presence and way back in the mix. Because the bottom end was a mess, the vocals were lost, no definition. I'd give the performance 9/10 but the mix 3/10. I have heard many other bands in this venue, with a much better sound, much room for improvement there.

Awesome performance! Enmore is such a great venue for live music and Kaleo no exception. Didn’t speak to the audience much, maybe because they started 15 mins late, but they crammed in lots of songs and definitely played to the audience. Guy on harmonica was amazing and they had a no vocals band-member solo piece for all the musicians. Mostly played the album they were touring as you’d expect, but included some previous along the way and encored with No Good and Way Down We Go. Would have liked to hear Pretty Girls. Would highly recommend and definitely see again.

It was awesome. Kaleo and the opening act were both amazing. I had tickets to see Kaleo at Red Rock in May, but I had to miss it because my daughter’s school chose to hold her graduation the same night. I know I wouldn’t have had the same experience as I did at Cain’s Ballroom. I’m in a wheelchair and Cain’s went above what I expected to make sure I had a great experience. I will definitely be going to another show there.

The quality of the show was excellent. Whomever managed the side-stage videography did an amazing and creative job. Every band member was featured in some way which was also appreciated. So much talent. My only complaint was the length of time that Kaleo played. Total, with encore, they play for one hour and ten minutes. SO much anticipation over the last two years....I feel like they could have done more to satisfy their audience by playing for at least another 20 - 30 minutes. The venue, weather, city lightscape, and moon were all incredible.

Totally amazing show from start to finish. Bones Owens did a superb job as the opening act. Followed by my favorite band...KALEO!
My son and I had a fantastic night. The guys put on such a great show, from the singing, lyrics, the backup singers, the opening act, the instrument playing...perfect in every way!
Thank you Kaleo for an incredible night, making great life long memories with my adult son.

This was my first ever concert and it was AMAZING! I love how the band didn't stick with one album. They played songs from the Surface Sounds album and threw in some dark horses from their A/B album. Definitely got me by surprise but I loved it! Half-way into the show JJ went backstage and busted out a Red Sox jersey which made the crowd go crazy! The band did an amazing job keeping everyone on their feet while JJ was backstage getting adjusted. After the show the crowd chanted "one more song!" and luckily enough the band came back out and played No Good to close the show. I wish I could give this show more than a 5 star rating!

They were amazing of course!!!! The venue however… oh my goodness. Everyone was packed super closely with drunk people everywhere just bumping into you. “Sorry, excuse me… excuse me, sorry” Just stay in your spots!!!! And then a bunch of older people who didn’t even know Kaleo drunk dancing, hitting you, talking super loudly during their performance and spilling their drinks. Nope!!! I would advise to either go super early, get a spot in the front or get a seat upstairs.

Such an amazing show. The girls in front of us were standing the whole time which sucked, considering the amount we paid for our tickets, plus one was clearly hammered, but the show itself was absolutely incredible. Didn’t spend that much to have a straight shot of 2 girls asses while they were clearly trying to get the band to notice them. Reminded me of why I have a hard time with shows that have rows of seats and no specific dancing area. Inconsiderate people.
The opening act, Myron Elkins, was also really good. A bummer that his mic was not functioning properly, or maybe the sound itself was just off, but I couldn’t hear him very well. Was surprised when I went home and watched a video of the band and heard his voice clearly. Then a little bit bummed that I didn’t get the full effect while at the show. I’ll go see both again if i get the chance!

Every person on stage was brilliant and brought a dimension to the music. JJ is extremely talented and his voice is even better than on recordings. The backup singers were a delight and looked like they were having a blast.
The opening act, Myron Elkins, set the vibe well - impressive voice!!!
So happy we got to see Kaleo play live. Thank you to all involved, and enjoy the tour.

Amazing performance. This band is VERY good. I felt like I was watching legends play music. Kaleo hasn't been together long, yet their talent seems like they've been playing music since the beginning of time. The vocals were astounding. The singer sings with such heart and soul. Honestly, they're too good to be playing in a smaller venue. Although I am happy I saw them in such an intimate setting. I would give 5+ stars, but it won't let me.

i drove 5 hours (for a 45 minute set) to see these guys for the 3rd time, i am still blown away by the talent. the lumineers were good too but we left after the second song because our seats were awful. can people stop buying good seats and reselling them for hundreds of dollars? i'm a broke college student just here to have a good time. there were 10 people waiting out by the buses after the concert to try to meet them, my friend and i included, and the guard said the lumineers wouldn't be coming out unless there were a lot of people which is soooo stupid it really pissed me off. at kaleo's last concert they were outside saying hi to everyone, having full conversations, i love those icelandic men. anyway, i would drive to freaking australia to see kaleo again. go see them. GO SEE THEM. you might want to wait for their own tour though.
