Ms. Kaplan

Energetic and loud, Ms. Kaplan’s rise will hopefully be dramatic and impactful, like all the old-school heavy metal legends and the unique-sounding, rule-breaker bands of the 2000s’, which inspired their overall outlook and musical style.

Ms. Kaplan were formed by Berrak Özçelik on vocals along with Koray Felek on guitars in Istanbul, Türkiye. After a few line-up changes, they were joined by Barış Şahin on bass and Kyle Eren Ebden on drums. Since then, Ms. Kaplan have regularly performed at various local clubs and venues, playing almost 100 shows. Ms. Kaplan have become a regular act and their strong magnetic live presence led to the rise in their reputation, laying the ground for them to focus on their music.

Beginning with their dark and fierce debut single CHEAP TRICK, Ms. Kaplan have released five singles, most of which got airplay on the Sonsuz Çilek Tarlaları program at Açık Radyo and on the Pamir program at Swiss radio station, Radio 3FACH, latter also being accompanied by an interview.

UNTIL THE END OF DAYS TOUR, was their first-ever tour in their home country, Türkiye, which made sure there was more to come from Ms. Kaplan in the band’s future and fueled the anticipation of an upcoming album.
