De Engels-Jamaicaanse artiest Julian Marley is een van de elf kinderen van reggae-icoon Bob Marley. Net als bij zijn halfbroers Stephen, Ziggy en Damian zit de reggaemuziek in zijn genen, maar de kinderen hebben ook de spiritualiteit en vrijgevigheid van hun vader geërfd: de vier Marleys runnen samen het platenlabel Ghetto Youths Crew, waarmee projecten voor kansarme jongeren worden gefinancierd. Inmiddels heeft Julian vijf soloalbums op zijn naam staan – zijn jongste plaat, Colors Of Royal (2023, gemaakt met meesterproducer Antaeus), won vorig jaar de Grammy voor Best Reggae Album!
