A Good Rogering Biography

A Good Rogering is an eclectic rock band hailing from Austin, Texas, known for their genre-defying sound and electrifying live performances. Conceived in 2008 by vocalist and guitarist Skunk Manhattan, "AGR" blends the raw power of heavy hitters like Megadeth and Mastodon with the dynamic versatility of Faith No More and Type O Negative. This fusion creates a sonic tapestry that ranges from crushing riffs and soaring solos to infectious melodies and haunting atmospheres, all underscored by a sharp, satirical edge.

The band burst onto the scene with their debut album Long Overdue in 2010, unleashing a bold mix of hard rock and progressive experimentation into Austin’s vibrant music landscape. Since then, they’ve gained a cult following with a string of releases, including two full-length albums, an EP, and multiple singles. Their 2022 release, Systematic Paralysis, stands as a pinnacle of their craft, weaving dystopian themes with a potent blend of groove metal ferocity and atmospheric depth.

With road-worn boots and a trail of scorched stages across the U.S., AGR has clocked endless miles, sharing bills with rock titans like Skid Row, Marty Friedman (Megadeth), Steven Adler (Guns N Roses), and Uli Jon Roth (Scorpions) along the way. Armed with a discography that obliterates boundaries and a live show that fuses raw intensity with theatrical grit, A Good Rogering continues to make their mark in the world of rock.
