Ms. Cool

During the pandemic, Ms. Cool’s lead songwriter, Cynthia Sadler, rekindled their passion for music by taking a class that reignited their creative spark. Having dabbled in songwriting before, it had been a few years since they last wrote anything. After the class, she privately shared her demos with friends, seeking feedback and potential bandmates. The band formed and debuted their first four songs at a FemmeRock showcase in 2024.

Their music draws heavily from post-punk and new wave influences, echoing the vibrant energy of the Go-Go’s, the raw edge of the Pretenders, and the innovative sounds of the Eurythmics. This mix of inspirations gives their sound a dynamic and nostalgic yet refreshingly modern vibe.
