RM47 Biography

Los Angeles-based duo RM47—comprised of the electrifying MAAD and the visionary Raleigh—has been making waves with their genre-blurring sound since 2020. Both seasoned solo artists, they joined forces to create something entirely new, debuting with the hypnotic single “Needed U,” which quickly garnered critical acclaim. Their momentum led to opening slots for Qveen Herby, standout performances at Shabang Festival and Everyday People, and media placements with i-D Magazine, BBC Radio, KCRW, Netflix, Hulu, and Edition Magazine. Their genre-bending debut album, Stuck With You But I Like It, solidified their signature Alt-Electro-R&B sound—blending soulful vocals, rich synths, and infectious rhythms—earning them a coveted spot in Pirate Studios' Residency program and a feature on Timbaland’s ‘New Music Fridays’ TikTok show.

2024 saw RM47 drop a series of high-energy singles—including "Gimme Dat," "Buss It," and "LE FIX"—further establishing them as ones to watch. Their meteoric rise hit a new level when they were featured on SoundCloud's “Today's Top Pop” cover, leading to an explosive surge in listenership. Now, in 2025, they’re starting the year strong with "FYF", kicking off a waterfall of new single releases leading into their highly anticipated EP.

As they continue to push boundaries sonically and visually, RM47 has been tapped to perform at Coachella 2025, marking a pivotal moment in their career. With an arsenal of new music, captivating visuals, exclusive merch, and immersive fan experiences on the way, RM47 is shaping the future of alternative R&B—on their own terms.
