Heidi Browne returns to Thornton Hough Village Club with guest Nicky Phillips. HEIDI BROWNE is a Shropshire based multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter who effortlessly blends folk, pop, and jazz influences to create a truly unique and enchanting sound, and has numerous accolades to her name including UK OpenMic winner and BBC Introducing ?Pick of 2013?. Half British, half Czech, NICKY PHILLIPS describes herself as a Londoner whose heart has found its home in the north of England. She is currently self-producing her second EP, a collection of earnest songs on piano, to be released at the end of 2024 and further single releases are planned with Canadian producer Joel Schwartz. Nicky Phillips has begun the process of creating her first full-length album, due to be completed later this year.

Welcome to Heidi Browne's music page. 6 Music's Tom Robinson described Heidi's song 'G.I.R.L.F.R.I.E.N.D' as 'a masterclass' in how to 'tell[..] a story - straight and direct, person to person, heart to heart.' FolkCast describes her music as 'summery, sweet-n-sour, soulful and full of sass!' She has been broadcast nationally on stations including BBC Radio 1 & 2 and following tours of Europe and Australia has also been played on stations across the globe.

Heidi won national talent competition 'Open Mic UK' in 2014 and was one of 25 acts singled out by BBC introducing as a pick for 2013. Heidi was selected to attend a special musician's masterclass at Abbey Road and went on to play sessions on BBC Radio 2 and feature at a number of major music festivals. Heidi has supported major artists including Jack Savoretti, Thea Gilmore and Roy Wood. Amazing Radio's Ruth Barnes stated 'she has the kind of pop sensibility to make grown ad-men weep!'

Heidi Browne is a prolific writer and has 4 albums out, with a 5th album in production.

As well as writing and playing several classical and rock instruments, Heidi speaks 3 languages and studied at Oxford University.
