Tea Eater (USA) Fronted by Tarra Thiessen of Gustaf and Sharkmuffin, the New York City-based art punk band’s made significant waves with their debut LP Obsession, released in October 2023, produced and mixed by Drew Vandenberg (Bambara/Faye Webster/Of Montreal). Tea Eater has been local support for Thee Oh Sees, and have completed East Coast and Midwest headline tours, a month-long residency in LA, a set at Distorsion Psych Fest in Montreal, and two UK/EU headline tours in 2023 and 2024. Their European stops included Kaltern Pop Festival, Left of the Dial Festival in Rotterdam, Cinetol Festival in Amsterdam, and headlining shows in Paris, Angers (Levitation France), Berlin, and London. Secret Rivals (Oxford) Secret Rivals are a four-piece indie pop/punk band from Oxford, UK, known for their boy-girl vocals, sharp hooks, and emotional energy. Reuniting in 2023 after a nine-year break, musically influenced by the sharp edges of The Cribs, Idlewild, Pixies and The Wedding Present, they produce a sound which has been described as 80s - synth -infused lo-fi indie punk-pop in the mould of The Cure and Los Campesinos with vocals likened to riot grrrl bands, Bis and Huggy Bear. Everything Else (Liverpool) It’s a kind of British ‘soul’ music with ancestors like The Cure, Echo & The Bunnymen, The Jesus & Mary Chain and the original shoegaze bands.
