Nathalie Duchêne Biography
Capturing the essence of the character and the music of Nathalie Duchene is like considering the dichotomy which opposes day and night, the moon to the sun, she draws her inspiration from Belgian electro by Soulwax, the House/French Touch of Stardust, and the visionary techno of Kraftwerk.
Her unique style, born from this fusion of influences, makes her a prominent figure in today's electronic scene. Nathalie Duchene grew up in Belgium and moved to Paris at the age of 18.
In March 2022, Nathalie released her debut solo EP "Praia" on TOY TONICS. Remixes by Yuksek and Boombass (Cassius) help complete the duality which defines Nathalie Duchene.
In 2023 she released her single « don’t go » on Boston Bun ‘s Circa’99 label, taking inspiration from Daft Punk’s raw filtered synth sounds and drops them over thumping house drums with a belting female vocal deep in the mix. It’s brightly colored, peak time track.
In September 2024, she performed at Paris 2024 Paralympics Closing Ceremony and announced signing new tracks with Australian label Club Sweat, which she’ll be playing on tour in 2025.
