About this show
Comedian John Caparulo is perhaps best known as the under-dressed everyman on the E! hit show, Chelsea Lately. Cap, as he's known by his friends and fans, has also made multiple appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Comedy Central Presents, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Next Generation of Blue Collar, and as a standout performer in Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy Show. His first 1-hour special, Meet Cap, was released in 2009 and premiered on Comedy Central the same year. More recently, in addition to touring as a popular national headliner, Cap appeared as part of Ron White's Salute To The Troops on CMT, a network on which he became well-known as the host of the surprisingly hilarious Mobile Home Disaster. Caparulo's stand-up comedy has become a favorite for SiriusXM fans, which led to his former radio show The Mad Cap Hour, and currently, the Domestic Disputes podcast, which are both available on iTunes.

Venue was unexpectedly nice. I like the way they separate it. The upstairs that had a bar, pool, TVs and then the downstairs was a little bit more quaint still with a separate bar so you didn't have to go up and down and food which was very good.
The show was funny. Hewitt pagenstecher was funnier in person than his YouTube videos I'd seen. And of course, John Caparulo He's always made me laugh for many years. I'm glad I got a chance to see him in person.

John Caparulo Biography
A comedian known for his sharp wit, unique delivery, and brilliant affinity for cuss words, John Caparulo is a seasoned comic whose dry, no-nonsense Midwestern sensibility endears him to audience members of all kinds. He began his comedy career performing in clubs in Cleveland and Pittsburgh in the late ‘90s before coming to Hollywood to hone his skills on stage and work the door at the legendary Comedy Store.
Caparulo's breakout performance at Montreal's Just for Laughs in 2003 led to spots on The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and he appeared over 150 times as a panelist on Chelsea Handler’s popular E! show Chelsea Lately.
His profile continued to rise with live performances on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Next Generation, Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy Tour, Ron White’s Salute To The Troops, and the Showtime special Unsportsmanlike Comedy with Rob Gronkowski.
He voiced the character of “Headphone Joe” on Disney’s Fish Hooks, played the part of “Brian” on the ABC sitcom Work It, was the host of Mobile Home Disaster on CMT, and hosted numerous radio shows and podcasts on Sirius XM, All Things Comedy, and more. He was brilliantly cast as the irritated spokesperson for Edge Shave Gel’s nationwide “Anti-Irritation” campaign.
Comedy Central aired his 1/2 hour special in 2006 and his first full-length special, Meet Cap, in 2008. Netflix then distributed Meet Cap, and later, Come Inside Me, in 2013. In 2014, Cap decided it was time to take a different approach to sharing his comedy with the world. He launched a series called Caplets on Hulu, for which Cap recorded short standup sets and released a new episode every 30 days. The concept was simple but innovative for the time… “singles instead of albums.” Cap has continued this format for the past decade, only pausing during Covid to produce Un-Capped Comedy, a live-streaming show with the audience choosing the topics for him to improvise.
Caesars Entertainment signed Cap to a headlining residency in 2018. He and his family moved from Calabasas, CA to Las Vegas, and he performed over 500 shows at Harrah’s. John Caparulo’s Mad Cap Comedy ran 5 nights a week until its unexpected demise as a result of the pandemic shutdowns. Now he’s back on the strip headlining exclusively at Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club during the week, while touring nationally on the weekends.
And on top of his commitments to being a great dad and a mediocre husband, Cap has written an outlandish comic book series based on his family. Cartoon Comic is available for purchase at JohnCaparulo.com
