Natasha Blaine Biography
Natasha Blaine is a singer and songwriter from Seattle, WA, based in Nashville, TN. Her music draws from soul, pop, and R&B, driven by her buttery voice and songs that mesh elegance and sass. With songwriting that has been described as "direct, unfiltered and emotionally immediate,” Natasha Blaine is quickly becoming a household name in the Nashville songwriter scene.
She started singing jazz when she was just six years old, inspired by vocalists like Norah Jones, Amy Winehouse, and Ella Fitzgerald. Blaine moved to Nashville from the Seattle suburbs in 2018 to study literature and vocal jazz at Vanderbilt University, graduating in 2021 as the first jazz vocalist in the school’s history. While in college, she began writing and performing original music, playing the Nashville writers’ round circuit. Her nuanced voice and groovy songs quickly caught the attention of the Nashville music scene, earning her name recognition and an engaged, growing fanbase.
2021 was a big year for Blaine, with the release of her debut EP, I Fall in Love Too Easily, and playing high-energy shows at lots of iconic Nashville venues. With grand plans to release new music, 2022 has a ton in store.
