Fielder

Whoever you are, we're so glad you're here! We're Skye and Addison, two good friends who love each other and love making music. We met at Skye's mom's 50th birthday party (yes, you read that correctly) and have been living life together ever since. We're in our early twenties which means we're experiencing a lot, feeling a lot (being young and independent is hard), and thinking a lot (about why we're here and how the heck bluetooth works). Sooooo, we wrote a bunch of songs about it! Not just because we wanted to be in a girl-band (although that definitely crossed our minds) but because we're external processors and we both believe that by expressing the good and hard things in our lives and ourselves, we become the truer version of who we were meant to be. So while we've been busy building our solo careers, we've also accidentally written almost 20 songs together (a very happy accident)!! Both of us grew up listening to Patty Griffin but we also share the love for The Weepies, Phoebe Bridgers, Noah Gundersen, and Kacey Musgraves. We kept joking about starting our own band, but with every song we wrote, we found it to be less of a joke and more of a dream: what if we start a girl band called Fielder?!
