Leigh & Joe
May 3rd 2025
Parker Barrow never disappoints! We love the southern rock energy, the guitar riffs, the keyboard solos and the powerful vocals. The lead singer Megan brings it every time and is a superstar rising. She has the raspy, emotional and mystical voice of Stevie Nicks combined with the raw, blues-infused power of Janice Joplin. Dylan, the drummer (and songwriter) is the engine that powers the band's sound, energy and success. Soak in their first album, Jukebox Junkies, on Spotify or YouTube beforehand, and you'll be singing along and marking your calendar for every performance near you, like we do. Already booked for Allentown Blues, Brews and BBQ Festival in June. Can't wait for their next album! Heard some awesome new tracks live like Make it, Glass Eyes Cryin, Blinded and Novocaine.

Parker Barrow Biography
Parker Barrow is a Blues Infused Southern Rock n' Roll Band based out of the City of Music – Nashville Tennessee. The duo of Drummer/Songwriter Dylan Turner and Front Woman Extraordinaire, Megan Kane is much like their name’s sake in the sense of being on the run; but unlike the original Partners in Crime Turner and Kane are on the run towards a dream rather than from the law. The couple intends to bring you on the journey with their eccentric mix of emotive song lyrics and eclectic melodies that are reminiscent of the powerhouse Southern Rock era of days gone by. Kane and Turner’s backgrounds in Rock, Blues, Soul and Country make their brand of music unmistakably and distinctively their own.
Turner, originally from La Plata, Maryland migrated to Nashville in early 2018 in pursuit of a new project that would concentrate on the tones, sounds and vibes of the music he was raised on but tell the stories that the country music genre is known for. After a year of grinding on Nashville’s famed Broadway scene and experimenting with different line ups substantial roots were developed and the band began to blossom fully after a chance encounter with Kane a native of Birmingham, Alabama and relative newcomer to Nashville at the time. Kane had moved to town for a change of pace and a stage to sing on. She quickly found herself living the van life and touring the east coast with Turner, cutting her teeth on the road. Kane brings the southern flare with her undeniable vocal dominance and absolutely electric live performances. With sights set on staking a claim as a female force is the Southern Rock game, Kane sings and screams her heart out each time she takes the stage and each time it’s an experience that you would not want to miss. After the release of their debut EP “Don’t Tell Mama”, which reached number 4 on the Country Music ITunes Charts and Number 21 in All Genres, the duo decided to live and tour out of their 32ft RV with their Road Dog, Sadie Mae. They keep “Rolling with the punches and Rockin’ all night long”. These two “Juke Box Gypsy’s” have been at it ever since.
It is apparent to all that have seen the couple preform that Turner and Kane share a true vision, sincere passion, appetite and appreciation for life on the road and the live performance genre. The duo places high value on their Faith, their relationship through music and their families. The couple are truly kindred in spirit and will be tying the knot this spring and are excited to continue creating and preforming together in this next chapter of life. From their intimate acoustic sets to powerful high energy full band shows it is apparent that Kane and Turner are exactly where they want to be.
Heavily influenced by the Black Crowes, The Allman Brothers, Tedeschi Trucks Band and Whiskey Myers, the band loves to jam and includes an infusion of the blues with every arrangement. This down to earth band flies high on stage and works hard to take you along on the flight.
Turner and Kane are currently in the studio working on their debut full length studio record with Producer Stephen McKnight of Thermal Productions in New Jersey. The duo is expecting a Summer 2023 release date for the record and are excited to show the world a new side of themselves!
