Politics, religion, folklore, conspiracy theories, and other esoteric topics make up the lion's share of 's lyrics. Musically the band are rooted in aggressive thrash with lashings of death metal growls, classic metal melodies, strong vocal lines, and occasional forays into Hypocrisy themed electronica. Both Stormbeard and The World Controller handle vocal duties, Stormbeard records the guitars, TWC records the bass, and both share guitar duties live with a session live bass player.
