Peter Bernstein Quartet play music from their most recent album What Comes Next. Guitarist Peter Bernstein's quartet with Danny Grissett (piano), Doug Weiss (bass), and Bill Stewart (drums), is a group of individual stylists who are like-minded in their commitment to swinging jazz music that comes from the blues all the way through the modern sounds of the 60s and today. They play original compositions, classics from the great jazz composers, and standards from the American popular songbook. They have all played with some the most important musicians of the late 20th century as well the younger generation of musicians who are keeping the flame. These musicians find inspiration from the past but play in the present moment.
