OgD Biography
David Charles Davenport (born November 7, 2001) known professionally as OGD, is an American Rapper, Record Producer, Entrepreneur, Video Director, and Studio Master from Indianapolis, Indiana. In early life, writing music, BMX, and playing football were David's main hobbies. Spending lots of time in the streets with friends around the neighborhood, OGD developed over years of writing, practicing, and growing through his childhood.
In the early 2000's, David spent most of his passion time looking up to his father Chris Davenport known professionally as Madman1, who was striving to make a living by working a full time job and having a music career to focus on.
OGD and Madman1 formed partnership independent record label MBMGlobal for a backbone and representation towards the artist's careers.
Following many underground releases, OGD breaks into the music industry early 2017 with the single release Mad Flows. This was OGD's first release onto public stores and digital platforms, however prior to this releasing over 7 independent projects reaching high independent numbers. Seeing This progression, OGD knew it was time to release music onto larger platforms for fans to reach.
In 2017, OGD had planned to release EP - Blessed on music platforms. Following a basketball competition between friends with a bet, if OGD did not score 10 points before other players in the game, he must release this project instantly instead of the original planned date. OGD released the EP - Blessed shortly after the basketball game, it is safe to say OGD should stick to music instead of sports.
In 2018, OGD released 3 projects that show progression like no other in the time frame of 1 year. Broken, After Night, and Killing Everything are 3 of OGD's most successful and passionate projects in the hip hop legend's single year.
In 2019, OGD started the year off with a bang releasing the EP- 2019 and finishing the year off the same way with the album that took off, Through The Rain Clouds
OGD has grown independently from being underrated to one of the Rap Industries talked about trending artist. MBMGlobal will be following up with plans from OGD and expectations following more milestones.
