Since its inception in 2008, our monthly blues night has remained a firm favourite on the club calendar bringing top performers from the world of jazz and blues. Co-led by guitarist/vocalist Marcus Bonfanti (Ten Years After), pianist/vocalist Paddy Milner (Tom Jones) and featuring the dynamic Tony Remy (Jack Bruce) also on guitar, the Blues Explosion performs a night of electrifying blues - playing the music of BB King, Buddy Guy, Peter Green, Albert Collins, Dr. John and many more.

Tony Remy Biography
Tony Remy is a talennted jazz guitarist from Great Britain. Tony started out playing in a number of both jazz and rock bands throughout the 80's before releasing his first solo album 'Boof' in 1993 on the American Jazz/fusion label GRP. As his stock within the London jazz community grew with the invention and raw energy of his live shows, he went on to release a further album on Alltone Records, as well as a blistering live recording of him with his Blue Vibe trio. His hard-edged rhythmically driven approach is enriched with jazz intuition and eloquent bluesy soul.
