Jessica did the best under the circumstances. Whoever organized the venue (I believe it was the local comedy committee) could have picked a better environment and sound/lighting setup for her. The local comedy committee was underprepared and did not do her justice. I just moved to ND/MN and honestly felt that the crowd was super conservative and stiff. The local acts that led up to her performance used content from other comedians and were less than desirable. The buzzing sound throughout all of the performances was distracting. It didn't help that there was it took local police almost the entire act to get a problematic individual out of the building upstairs. However, this disturbance contributed improvisation for Jessica and I enjoyed her humor about the situation!
