About this concert
𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 • Doors open at 7:00 PM, Music starts at 8:00 PM • 21+ Event, Valid ID Required • No Refunds 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐧 Staff Johnson was formed back in 2003 at Boston College by Mike Najarian (Drums), Chris Burke (Vox & Guitar), Jon Tashjian (Lead Guitar), and Will Lawrie (Bass). Quickly a fan favorite on campus Staff Johnson would frequent venues such as The Middle East Downstairs, Harper’s Ferry (now the Brighton Music Hall), Great Scott, and Church playing an infectious blend of upbeat, danceable, classic rockesque originals and covers. Staff Johnson stayed active post-grad playing shows when Mike was off the road from his touring schedule drumming with the band State Radio (which featured front man, guitarist, vocalist Chadwick Stokes of Dispatch). State Radio toured from 2006-2013 and played amphitheaters such as Red Rocks in Colorado, opening for acts like Dave Matthews Band, Rage Against the Machine, and 311, co-headlining bills with the likes of John Butler Trio and Rebelution. Staff Johnson stayed active until 2015 but was spread out with Jon in Buffalo, NY and Will in Amherst, MA. The band then had a dormant period until a 2023 Buffalo show at Nietzsche’s and an EP recorded in 2024 in Amherst. After a decade of not playing in the Boston area Staff will have its EP Release Party at Soundcheck Studios for a one night-only event. Staff will be teaming up with The Michael Burke Foundation in what is sure to be an epic night that is a decade in the making. 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐚 𝐌𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐝 Tequila Mockingbird is an energetic cover band known for their diverse repertoire, spanning from the iconic hits of the '70s to today's chart-toppers, with a special love for the vibrant sounds of the '90s. The band is made up of Megan Rodriguez (vocals), Chris Palfrey (guitar), Russell Piercy (bass), and drummer Eric Emerson (who played with Stick Figure in its very early days before Scott moved to LA). The band brings their unique talents and passion for music to every performance. Whether it’s rock, pop, or alternative, Tequila Mockingbird delivers an unforgettable experience, getting audiences on their feet and singing along to their favorite tunes from across the decades. About The Michael Burke Foundation Proceeds from the show will go to support The Michael Burke Foundation; a registered 501(c)(3) charity (EIN: 82-2654330) whose mission is to benefit cancer patients and help their families with the myriad of unexpected costs that arise with serious illness. Tequila Mockingbird Biography

The Wendy Clark Band is a Denver-based original rock band that has evolved from Tequila Mockingbird (1996).

Active on the Front Range music circuit and indie scene since 1996, Wendy is a singer, composer, rhythm guitarist, bandleader, independent-recording artist, and promoter. Her music is classified as roots-rock or Americana but add an unmistakable playful voice and infectious melody combined with modern philosophical meanderings and themes mixed with a twinge of nostalgia, that are catchy, powerful, & kept fresh by delving into multiple genres.

Wendy has released three critically-acclaimed full-length CDs under the moniker Tequila Mockingbird, has performed over 1,000 festivals and gigs regionally including A Taste of Colorado, Adams County Fair, The CHUN Peoples Fair (1998-2014), toured in the Rockies, appeared on live TV and radio (Denver's Channel 2 Evening News, KRFC FM, KYGT FM, KRUU FM and 1190 AM, Mile High Underground), released dozens of videos (The Honeymoon and Catching On receiving tens of thousands of views on YouTube), and opened at sold out shows for bands such as Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, The Samples, Bob Schneider, and Chris Daniels & The Kings. She has opened up for Tim McGraw at Fiddler's Green, played alongside The Refreshments, Hazel Miller, Kate LeRoux, Brian Blush (The Refreshments) and Jamon Scott as well as collaborated and recorded with bassist Rob Squires of Big Head Todd and the Monsters . Wendy has also worked with award-winning sound engineers/producers Eric Shiveley (Alien-American 2004) and Bill Thomas (UFO 1998, Luck and Trouble 2010) and multi-GRAMMY recipient, David Glasser.
