Blue Lab Beats Biography
Blue Lab Beats are a dynamic duo from London, comprising producer NK-OK and multi-instrumentalist Mr DM. Their live performances feature a full band setup with drums, bass, vocals, saxophone, trumpet, Mr DM on keys and guitar, and NK-OK on the drum machine.
With over 85 million Spotify streams, they’ve become one of the UK’s most exciting acts. They have performed at prestigious events such as Glastonbury Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival, Blue Note Tokyo, Jazzaldia Festival in Spain, Love Supreme in Japan, and have headlined at KOKO for Global Soul. Their tours have taken them to Paris, Prague, Istanbul, Holland, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Eswatini (with Jazz Re:freshed), and on a record store tour around the UK.
Their music was featured in the UK rom-com film Rye Lane, where they also made a cameo performance. Locally, they curate a night at The Elgar Rooms to showcase emerging jazz talent and run their own indie label, Blue Adventure Records.
