Catastrophe Gigs are bringing you a massive night of emo and pop punk with Paramore, Sum 41 and Avril Lavigne covered live at Crowbar.The Catastrophe Band is back to perform the best of Paramore's first four albums. With plenty of the massive hits from Riot and Brand New Eyes, plus fan favourites from All We Know Is Falling and self-titled that the real Paramore never perform anymore.In December Sum 41’s farewell tour of Australia was tragically cancelled due to illness, but Emo AF are here to play all your favourite Sum 41 tunes, along with bangers by fellow Canadian Avril Lavigne.Drastic Park are making the trip up from Melbourne to perform their heavy pop punk originals, and Sydney’s own Great Job! are opening up the show with their own brand of quirky indie punk.Saturday 28 JuneCrowbar Sydney345 Parramatta Rd, Leichhardt 7:30pmPresented by @catastrophegigs

Catastrophe Biography
Tout pourrait être autrement. C’est avec cette idée en tête que Catastrophe vit, ne faisant jamais deux fois la même chose. Né en 2016, le groupe fondé par Pierre, Blandine et Arthur voudrait ne rien s’interdire, quitte à risquer le ridicule. Que ce soit dans des cabarets, des forêts ou sur des plages, par des concerts qui sillonnent la France, les festivals d’été (Rock En Seine, Les Francofolies, We Love Green, Pete the Monkey…), une nuit de radio de 12h pour le nouvel an, des créations inédites à Munich, Varsovie, Tokyo, ou un morceau composé avec 80 enfants à Marseille, Catastrophe imagine.
En 2018 paraît le disque « La nuit est encore jeune » (label Tricatel), précédé en 2017 d’un livre du même nom (ed. Pauvert)
Sur scène, la surprise est reine. Catastrophe réunit six personnalités – Pierre, Blandine, Arthur, Bastien, Pablo, Carol – comme autant de Power Rangers avec leurs propres savoir-faire, leurs coups spéciaux. Kaléidoscope de genres musicaux, Catastrophe partage le même goût pour l’innovation que Kamasi Washington et Aquaserge, celui pour la soul de Tank and the Bangas ou la joie collective d’Arcade Fire. Tout change à chaque instant et c’est une chance.
