Remy Ma Biography
Remy Smith (born in May 30, 1981 in The Bronx, New York ) is an American rapper and a former member of Fat Joe's rap crew Terror Squad. She is best known by her stage name, Remy Ma. She originally went by the name Remy Martin after the cognac. She was featured on the groups hit song "Lean Back" from the group's sophomore album True Story and in the remix of M.O.P.'s "Ante Up". Her debut solo album, There's Something about Remy: Based on a True Story, was released on February 7, 2006.
Remy has released five singles from her album There's Something About Remy: "Whuteva" , "Conceited", "Feels So Good", "Thug Love" and " "Lights Camera Action". "Conceited" was the most successful, however the album was largely a commercial failure selling only 125,000 units. The album got 3.5 mics from The Source magazine. Remy has plans to re-release the album or release another album before Summer 2007.
