The Jets Biography
The Jets are a Grammy-nominated family band originally from the island kingdom of Tonga, discovered in Minneapolis in the mid-1980s. As a group of siblings, they soared to fame with timeless hits like “Crush on You,” “You Got It All,” and “Make It Real,” earning eight Top 10 hits across the pop, R&B, dance, and adult contemporary charts.
Known for their energetic performances and harmonies, The Jets became a global sensation—nominated for an American Music Award, winning Best New Group at the Tokyo Music Festival, and representing Pacific artists in Seoul, South Korea. They completed three world tours, two USO tours, and sold over three million albums with their first three releases.
Though the original group disbanded in 1997, The Jets reunited in 2014 with a new album, "Reunited." Creative differences eventually led to two performing groups carrying on The Jets name.
Today, Elizabeth, Moana, Kathi, Eddie, Natalia, and EtiVise continue the legacy, backed by their brothers Tony (guitar), Mika (bass), and Donnie (drums)—bringing their iconic sound to fans old and new. Over three decades later, The Jets remain a beloved symbol of Polynesian pride, family, and feel-good 80s pop.
