Quest Biography
In today’s rap game few MC’s possess the knowledge, skills, and finesse of hip-hop’s legends of yesteryear. Yet, out of the burrows of New Orleans’ 8th ward/Algiers rose a lyrists with the phenomenal talent and unmistakable potential to revive the hip-hop game as we know it. Quest began his career in the entertainment industry at the age of five as a local child actor and model. Soon after, he began writing poetry and taking piano lessons. By 15 Quest’s exceptional spoken word performances were gaining admiration and recognition in both New Orleans and its surrounding areas. He competed in and won numerous local and national poetry competitions; one being the world renowned “Brave New Voices Youth Speaks Spoken Word Competition.” Before graduating high school Quest began producing music and began competing in numerous beat competitions. Most notable is his win at "Soundclash" and selected for a spot in "Red Bull's Big Tune" competition; thus, granting him the opportunity to work with nearly every artist in his city. Today Quest isn’t just a dope MC; he’s a multifaceted artist. An artist, who through hard work and dedication has earned such titles as community activist, poet, spoken word artist, emcee, producer, audio engineer, videographer, and inspiration.
