The Puppets Biography
There are at least 3 bands named the Puppets. One was a New Wave synthpop band that came to prominence in the early 1980's with their hit "The Way of Life."
The other is the collective genius of three young ladies from the Coventry/Leicester region. They formed in 2005, and have since being playing their "cacophany of happiness and sadness" at gigs in the Midlands and London.
It is impossible to tie The Puppets to a particular genre, since they constantly experiment with new sounds. However, their live performances have received great critical acclaim, they are a must-see band!

The third, perhaps less commemorated by the modern era, was a Lancashire band belonging to the Merseybeat scene. They had a couple of hits, including 'Poison Ivy' and 'Everybody's Talking'.
