EMY is a modern pop/alternative singer-songwriter from St. Louis, Missouri. A relatively new name in the music game, EMY turns heads with her story-driven lyrics that range from social issues to popular culture. Her upcoming debut EP Intergalactic combines her love of outer space and female-empowerment in a catchy and clever blend. This urban-inspired singer began writing music from a young age, filling up dozens of journals with poems and songs, trying to find her voice in a sea of similar artists wanting to make a name for themselves. EMY has always believed in the power of a story, and the strength in telling a full story in a few verses - something uncommon in the current pop scene. Mixing mainstream pop and alternative storytelling gives EMY an edge that makes her stand out from other artists. She calls the action “degrading and rude”, while still maintaining a catchy hook and a good beat.
