Skylar Pocket

Skylar Pocket is a New Jersey based band fronted by childhood friends Skylar Graham and Zach Shectman. The often upbeat surf rock/twee elements of the band are deliberately cut with Sky's unflinchingly gentle and prayerful lyrics to tell stories of queerness and transness with values heavily based in the power of community, compassion, and love. The recording of the band's entire discography go hand in hand with these principles as they were done entirely in a bedroom in Zach's childhood home.
