Bury Your Dead Biography

Bury Your Dead is a hardcore band that hails from Worcester, Massachusetts. They began as a side-project of a metalcore band called Hamartia. They released their first album 'You Had Me At Hello' and began touring the east coast with big names in hardcore and metal. After some shows at Hellfest and Metalfest, Victory Records took interest in the band and signed them to the label.

In June of 2004 they recorded their second album 'Cover Your Tracks'.

Following its release, the band had moved on from smaller shows to the large music festival called Ozzfest. The band went currently on tour as an support for japanese rock / metalcore band Dir en grey with Fair to Midland and also went on tour with KoЯn, Deftones, Dir en grey, Stone Sour, Flyleaf, 10 Years, Deadsy, Bullets and Octane and Walls of Jericho on the Family Values Tour 2006.

The band received a new bassist, Aaron "Bubble" Patrick, since the leaving of Rich Casey.

Bury Your Dead released a new CD on July 11, 2006 called 'Beauty and the Breakdown'

The band reported on Monday, January 01, 2007, that Mat Bruso (Vocals) has left the band. He was later replaced by ex-I Killed the Prom Queen vocalist Michael Crafter. Crafter shortly departed the band due to personal reasons and was replaced by ex-Cassius vocalist Myke Terry.
