About this concert
Melbourne grunge-punk band Snub are making their first appearance in Brisbane! Joining them are garage punk rockers The Glycereens, feminist punks Whoroboros, and sapphic weepy riot rockers Dirty Linen.More about Snub:Snub is a four-piece grunge-punk band from Naarm/Melbourne. With their music being described as a "celebration of noise that wears its love for punk and grunge on its sleeve", the band is bringing a fresh take to the music they grew up on. You can expect fuzz-soaked guitars, gritty female vocals with attitude, and a DIY ethos and sense of fun. The band's debut album "All Day Glow" is 9 tracks of heavy grunge goodness that is as comforting in its nostalgia as it is exciting and fresh. Released on vinyl through Melbourne indie record label / skate shop Desert Highways, “All Day Glow” has been hitting all the right notes with anyone who likes their music heavy, fuzzy and loud. "With the level of confidence they’ve displayed, they’ve made it abundantly clear that the best is yet to come. Jump onto the Snub hype train now or miss the bragging rights that come with knowing them before they got big. The choice is yours."- Hysteria Mag

Snub Biography

Four-piece grunge punk band from Naarm/Melbourne, Australia. With the shared influences of the band sitting squarely in the 90s, the fuzz soaked guitars and attitude filled female vocals would be right at home alongside riot grrrl legends L7 or Babes in Toyland, or Aussie alt rock heavyweights like Magic Dirt and Silverchair. Snub brings their own spin to the sound with a more punk rock edge and DIY ethos. It’s heavy, it’s catchy, and this is a band you should not Snub.
