Alex Hart Biography
Alex Hart has been a professional musician for 15 years. She sings, plays guitar, bass, percussion and any stringed instrument she can get her hands on!
She is an established solo artist and is currently working with Jethro Tull's Martin Barre and Folk sensation Seth Lakeman. Alex has toured extensively with Martin and Seth around the USA and Europe and over lockdown has produced an album from the comfort of her own home ('Under the Covers')
Apart from writing and recording her own music, tow which she has released three records, she also appears on many other artist's albums too.
Back in 2013, Alex was signed to two small record labels in the UK and the US. During this time she released a cover version of Angie Stone's 'I Wish I Didn't Miss You' which reached no.2 in the dance charts and was supported by Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1.
During the pandemic, she has become a self employed music teacher and works independently and with the Barbican Theatre. Her new album that she is currently working on is due to be released this Summer.
