The Setting Son

The Setting Son is a Danish rock band formed in 2006 in Copenhagen. Blending 60s-inspired psychedelic garage pop with catchy hooks and bittersweet melodies, their sound ranges from raw, angst-driven tracks to melancholic gems. With three acclaimed albums—The Setting Son (2007), Spring of Hate (2009), and Before I Eat My Eyes and Ears (2012)—they’ve carved a unique space in Denmark’s alternative scene. After a decade-long hiatus, the band returned in 2024 with Demos and Rarities releases and new singles, culminating in their fourth album, Cul-De-Sac (2025), showcasing their signature fuzz and revitalized energy.
