Sorretun Voima

Sorretun Voima is a Finnish metal band combining groovy riffs, catchy melodies, sing-along choruses with straight forward tyckittings! And to spice things up there's also elements from rap and hardcore.

The band was founded in early 2019 by current guitarist Verne Maijanen and former member Tuomas Ahponen. The duo started writing material together and Sorretun Voima's unique style of metal started forming. Later on in 2019 drummer Atte Kautto, vocalist Miro Nykänen and bassist Asmo Nykänen joined the band as well. Tuomas left the band in 2020 and soon after, current member Henrik Pyötsiä filled the missing spot.

Sorretun Voima released their debut album "Kaaoksen Ääriviivat" in January 2024. The band attended to "Emergenza Festival" band competition in 2024 and reached the finals gathering great reviews on their energetic live performance.

The band is stoked for the year 2025! Sorretun Voima will have their first tour which will consist several gigs around Finland - and the icing on the cake, a gig at the biggest metal festival in Finland - Tuska Festival. New Sorretun Voima material will be released during 2025. Get ready!
