e course of nearly a decade making Jeanines are a superb indie pop band from Brooklyn, evoking influences as varied as the 60s folk of early Fairport Convention and Vashti Bunyan, the sunshine pop of Margo Guryan and Laura Nyro, Motown and the Velvets, and indiepop touchstones like Dear Nora, Marine Girls, Dolly Mixture, and the post-Black Tambourine projects of Pam Berry.

Lightheaded Biography
Lightheaded is a Portland based, northwest connection with worldwide roots. The foundation is 3 super fly mcs united under grooves, gifts and God. Braille, Ohmega Watts and Othello became friends before they became a group. That's what Lightheaded is all about, 3 friends rocking together in serious form over lovely production. The groups energy, passion and charizma follows them to every city, stage and studio they visit. Their live show has amped up crowds in all types of atmospheres.
The meaning of the name Lightheaded (headed for light) is a concept based on attitude. To remain optimistic in the midst of chaos. People often wonder why Lightheaded's music seems so happy. They ask "are you guys aware of what's going on in this world?". But we have chosen to meditate on the things which are praiseworthy. During the good times and the bad, we are happy to be alive. God has given us such an incredible opportunity.... just to exist. During the course of our lives, we have all faced many challenges but none of those challenges have made us regret our existence. Christ himself suffered a great deal while he was on earth, but suffering doesn't make our lives any less valid or effective. In fact, using the case of Christ, his suffering brought forth some of the greatest accomplishments ever known to mankind. And that is where we find our joy, peace, love and salvation.
