The final product would be called Opening Night, and was released in 2017 on Stoopid Records. Since leaving California and moving back to the Northeast, DELA has reconnected with some of Bostons finest musicians to form his new band called DELA s Body/Bt ALC Big Band), trumpet player Mark Berney (The Skatalites/Soul Shot), guitarist Steve Fell (Marco Benevento/BTALC), bassist Aaron Bellamy (The A-Beez/The Sam Kininger Band), drummer Jesse Hayes (The Toasters/The Attractors), and keyboardist Cameron Greenlee (The Skatalites/Naya Rockers). With their deep catalog of reggae influenced originals and top notch musicianship, DELA & Steady Rock Easy are definitely not to be missed!About JWJoshua West is a singer, songwriter, guitarist and percussionist born and raised in upstate NYon the shores of Lake Champlain, surrounded by the beauty of the Adirondack Mountains to the south and the Green Mountains of VT to the east.From a young age, Joshua began studying an array of instruments and musical mediums ranging from orchestral percussion to vocal performance, rhythm guitar to world music. He has performed/arranged and led numerous bands across the United States and internationally and shared stages with chart topping bands such as The Wailers, OAR, SOJA, Black Uhuru, Michael Franti, Rusted Root Goose and more.Joshuas music blends styles of reggae, hip hop, folk and soul with a focus on conscious lyrics that question the state of our world today.
