Unravel is a Brooklyn based party series showcasing UKG, Bassline, Breaks, and similar flavors. On April 13th, Unravel presents Boy Sanders, KC, Lexicon, and Preethi. Boy Sanders is a Brooklyn based DJ and producer who is know for sets rooted in Hard House, Breaks, and Speed Garage. With a production style that draws from the sampling techniques of old school hip hop producers, Boy dives deep into vinyl crates for authentic sounds that bring a nostalgic feel layered over hard hitting drums. He has opened for notable artists like Skin on Skin, Justin Jay, and Chr0meb0dies, performing at iconic venues such as Elsewhere, Superior Ingredients, and H0L0. Known for his fast-paced performances packed with energy, Boy’s track selection showcases emerging producers and DJs who push the sound of the genres forward. KC (they/them) is a genre-less DJ based in Brooklyn, NY with a love for sexy bass lines, breaks & drum patterns. Blending multiple genres and styles through out their sets, KC prioritizes infectious rhythms, addictive pulses and danceable energies. Founder and curator of NYC dance party “Born 2 Boogie”, KC challenges the status quo in night life to create a safe, judgement free zone on and off the dance floor. New York native, Salvadoran-American DJ Lexicon is known for creating fresh, exciting experiences on the dancefloor. Seamlessly blending genres, cultural influences, and diverse mixing styles, he takes bold risks that elevate every set. With percussive, swirling, and bouncy cuts, his performances keep the energy high and the crowd moving. Beyond the decks, Lexicon is deeply committed to the evolution of dance music culture, organizing events through his party On The Brink and with the San Francisco-based event series program. PREETHI (NYC) is a renowned DJ whose skillful mixing and dynamic presence have earned her a prominent place in the American electronic music scene. Known for her versatility, she has made a name for herself by playing at some of the best clubs across the United States, with notable residencies in both Chicago and New York City. Her performances have graced many legendary venues such as SmartBar in Chicago, a mecca for electronic music lovers, and Avant Gardner in New York City, where she had the honor of performing at Zed’s Dead's Deadbeats tour, one of the largest nightclub events in the city.
