Hystamine is a 4 piece, alt-metal band from Nottingham, known for contagious stage presence, powerful riffs and thought provoking, raw lyrics. Formed in 2021 at Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies, the band is inspired by darker imagery, however remains throughly entertaining with a vulnerable, yet commanding tone. Navigating darker topics while avoiding cliche and injecting a new, current perspective on the genre is a test of self awareness that Hystamine take in their stride, by delivering engaging and exciting live performances, with palpable on-stage chemistry.

Their music often explores themes like mental health and sexuality, resonating with many people from diverse backgrounds. Tracks like ‘Deface Me’ and ‘STFOMH’ (from their most recent album ‘Endorphin’) demonstrate their strong ability to blend aggression and attitude with engaging hooks and danceable melodies.
