About this concert
PlanetV is a three day camping experience featuring a journey through music, workshops, art and authentic connections. Our mission is to bring world class music, art, wellness, adventure and a wild spirit to this historic mining town. The three day camp out features The Pariah Mutant Vehicle as our spaceship while music and fire performances guide our journey. We love creating small magical experiences that lead to big ideas. PlanetV began in 2020 as an impromptu gathering with 75 friends who wanted to connect during COVID and has grown to an independent three day festival that is run by a passionate group of friends from Burning Man. We believe that lifting up the local community by welcoming friends to our remote corner of Colorado is important and that everyone deserves access to art and inspiration. PlanetV is hosted at CampV – a former mining town that has been reimagined to welcome dusty travelers.

Random Rab has been a pioneering force in the evolution of West Coast electronic music since the late '90s. Known for his unique fusion of downtempo, trip-hop, and cinematic soundscapes, he has carved out a signature style that blends organic instrumentation with rich, layered electronic production. More than just a DJ or producer, Rab is a composer and performer who builds immersive musical journeys that resonate deeply with audiences around the world. Rab’s work draws from a wide range of influences, from global folk traditions to minimal techno west coast bass music, weaving them into a sound that feels both timeless and distinctly his own.
A staple on the international festival circuit, Random Rab has performed over 50 iconic sunrise sets at Burning Man, enchanted audiences at Lightning in a Bottle, Shambhala, Boom, and Coachella, and created unforgettable moments at Envision Festival with seven consecutive years of sunrise performances in Costa Rica. These sets have become legendary for their emotional arc and intentional pacing—balancing the cerebral and the visceral, the contemplative and the ecstatic.
Through decades of dedicated artistry, Random Rab has become a trusted name in transformational music culture, not through mysticism or hype, but through consistent, innovative work that speaks directly to the human experience.
