CARBONE BLACK BIO :

Oskay, who started his adventure by performing at special events and parties in the US in the 2010s to continue the music education he received at a young age, decided to plan his career in this direction. In order to turn this venture into a profession, Oskay curated “Cärbone” in 2015 and applied to Pointblank, one of the best music schools in London, the capital of England.

During his London experience, he performed local and national radio shows as well as club shows, and upon his return to Istanbul, he has performed in many of Turkey's best venues. His unique style, combining old school techno beats with hypnotic sounds, impressed audiences in his hometown and he subsequently founded his own event and music imprint, UPD8. In 2018, Cärbone joined FG 93.7, Turkey's only electronic music and dance channel.

During the pandemic, he turned his digital art works into NFT, and the collections he produced were found to be very successful. Nationally exhibited artist Carbone has sold his pieces to well-known collectors including Pak and Cryptinish.

As one of the new and indispensable presenters of techno music in Turkey, Cärbone revised his project with his live performance and created “CARBONE BLACK” in 2021. Performing at major festivals of the global and local scene, the artist attracted attention with his A/V show “MTMRPHSS” and took the stage with some of the most acclaimed artists of the global scene such as Richie Hawtin, Bicep, Sam Paganini, Extrawelt, Boris Brejcha, Kobosil, Sebasian Mullaert, Woo York and Stephan Bodzin.
