Bleak Sanctuary is a blackened melodic death metal band with a gothic
edge, composed of introverts and old souls. Their first offering, The
Dark Night of the Soul, tells of a personal growth process marked by
inner turmoil and in which a quest for spiritual transformation
begins. The album highlights moments of confrontation with our own
deepest fears, doubts, and uncertainties, paving the path toward
enlightenment and growth. They converge in Berlin from different
corners of the world, united by a shared philosophy of life, forging
