Reign (US) Biography
Reign is a two-piece alternative rock band hailing from Nashville, TN. The band was founded in 2012, a few months after lead singer and guitarist, Ashley Nite and Cole Shugart, met through playing in other bands together.
A few weeks after forming the band, Reign found themselves playing their first show at an international festival called the Teen Hoot in front of over 2,000 people. Since then, Reign has gone on to play shows and festivals from world renowned venues like Florabama to Music City legends such as Puckett’s, 3rd and Lindsley, Rocketown, and plenty more. The band and its’ members have performed and had their music featured on Ryan Seacrest, The Vampire Diaries, The X-Factor, and UK radio.
After having honed in their writing, the band recorded their first EP under direction of Jon Nite and producer, Chris Utley, at Benchmark Sound. Reign’s debut What It Sounds Like – EP was released to iTunes, Spotify, Soundcloud, and YouTube in June of 2014.
