His sonic explorations, high energy performance and next level visuals translate powerfully to the stage where Curse reaches his most profound sonic apex - a perfect fusing of darkwave and industrial music. Based in Austin, TX and widely known as a member of iconic industrial band Pigface and periodically My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult as well as collaborations with darkwave legends CLAN OF XYMOX and Bauhaus founder David J. Curse began his career as a DJ and vocalist for notorious San Antonio industrial punk band Evil Mothers. His new album comes out this summer! Austin, Texas’ electronic band, SINE (pronounced like ‘sign’, written in all caps), is the creation of drummer/multi-instrumentalist, Rona Rougeheart (last name pronounced roo͞zh•härt). About SINE: SINE’s music style, dubbed “electronic boom”, weaves beats with industrial noise, sub bass and synths to form a blend of dark, lush sounds. SINE’s live performances mix synths, drumming + vocals w a strong, female fronted experience that entertains and encourages empowerment. Rona was born in New York, the youngest daughter of a Taiwanese mother and Irish father. She grew up as a military child, living all over the U.S. and in Okinawa, Japan. Her father was a musician who taught her how to play keys and guitar. It wasn’t until later, she decided to take up drums on her own. Early in her musical career, she played drums for multiple bands in Austin, TX, catching the eye of Gretsch Drums who, in 2012, gave her her first endorsement. Gibraltar hardware also added her to their roster.
