ENGLISH: The band Darkest started it's journey in 2010 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Influenced mainly by the thrash metal and european death metal, the band is proposed to make a heavy and fast sound with melody as well, trying to express themselves through the music. In 2011, Daniel joined the band and since then they started a very hard routine of compositions and rehearsals. Finally, by the end of 2011, Darkest started playing some gigs in Sao Paulo. In April, 2012, the band released on the internet a Rehearsal Demo to show the world what was coming. The band's first EP "Human Decay" was released in November of 2012 and features four of the most representative songs of the band. In 2013, Darkest announced the departure of their bass player Mauricio and the entrance of their newest bass player, Gil, who's left the band in the same year. In 2014, Leo became Darkest's third bass player. Contact: darkestofficial@gmail.com PORTUGUÊS: Iniciada em 2010, a banda Darkest capitaneada na cidade de São Paulo, procura fugir do óbvio com seu som pesado e rápido, sem deixar a melodia de lado. Influenciado principalmente pelo Death Metal Europeu e Thrash Metal, buscamos unir os estilos de maneira própria. Em 2011, o baterista Daniel entrou para a banda e, a partir de então, muitos ensaios ocorreram até que, após um ano de trabalho, o Darkest estreia para o público de São Paulo. Em abril de 2012, a banda disponibilizou seu primeiro registro em estúdio: um "rehearsal tape" que serviu como prévia do EP Human Decay, lançado digitalmente no final de novembro de 2012, e com cópias físicas lançadas em 2013. Human Decay foi gravado no estúdio GR, em São Paulo, e conta com quatro faixas que melhor representam a sonoridade da banda. Em 2013, a banda anunciou a saída do baixista Maurício e a entrada do novo baixista, Gil, que, por sua vez, anunciou sua saída da banda no mesmo ano.
