Yukimi

The vocalist and percussionist of the band Little Dragon presents her first solo project, a tantalising blend of R&B, electronic and indie. Born and raised in Sweden, Yukimi had a musical childhood, forming Little Dragon in high school alongside Erik Bodin on drums, Fredrik Wallin on bass and Håkan Wirenstrand at the keys. Her journey so far has spanned performances including at Coachella, Glastonbury, Hollywood Bowl, Lollapalooza and NPR’s Tiny Desk. Continuing her musical relationship with Erik Bodin, her new work features Agnes Perrson on guitar and Angelica Kvarby on bass, bringing a compelling female energy to the sound. They are also joined by Bodin (drums) and André Roots (keys). This event is part of Little Simz' Meltdown.
