America’s largest, longest-running, free maritime festival, the iconic Norfolk Harborfest® enters its 49th year in 2025. For three memorable days along the Downtown Norfolk Waterfront June 6-8, Harborfest celebrates all of the elements that make Norfolk & Hampton Roads a historic maritime & Naval community. On both land and sea, thrilling activities and live music take center stage at Harborfest, including the annual Parade of Sail featuring international tall ships, one of the largest fireworks shows on the East Coast, a mesmerizing drone show, interactive family games and activities, Navy exhibits and demonstrations, artisan foods and beverages, national and regional live entertainment, and much more. Mark your calendars for Friday-Sunday, June 6-8, 2025 for one of Hampton Roads’ biggest summertime events!

Allen Hudson and the Halfmoons are an alternative rock band from southeastern Virginia. They’ve spent the last 3 years making the kind of music that played on dorm room stereos in the early 90’s. In that short time, they’ve established themselves as one of Virginia’s best alternative acts; opening for Spin Doctors, Eric Hutchinson, Cracker and supporting Dada this August.
Sonically, the band exists somewhere between The Killers and Crowes; blending straight-to-tape rock and roll, new wave and power pop - all with a hint of southern charm.
