SOAP

SOAP were great. On one hand, it's criminal that they haven't been picked up by the mainstream media and radio stations yet. On the other hand, you have this window where you can enjoy seeing a class act at an intimate venue for a very decent price. While I usually gravitate toward a heavier post punk, nu-metal, metalcore type sound, and SOAP are definitely closer to the Pop side of Pop Punk, their live shows obviously have the guitar higher in the mix so more than meet my needs for a show. Their songs are catchy, well written and their performance is energetic and it is so refreshing to see a live act having the time of their lives while doing what they love. Not being a household name as yet, the crowd were all die hard and loyal fans and helped bring an explosive energy to the evening. Great band, great show, lovely lads and in my opinion, their version of SOS is better than the original.
