Mike Kiddoo

June 2018 at a cafe in Texas. Mike Kiddoo served a coffee to his now producer/collaborator, Justin Mauriello. Over the next three years, the two talked music and coffee each afternoon at the Austin cafe. In June 2018, former Zebrahead frontman Mauriello asked Kiddoo if he wanted to record a song together for fun. That song would spark the creative alliance of Kiddoo and Mauriello and define the new Kiddoo sound.
Kiddoo, who had been a shock rocker in Austin for nine years, was ready to hone his over-the-top act and style. He released "Rabbit Hole" in June 2019, marking the start of his musical shift. The song showcased Kiddoo's love of 90s pop-rock and 70s soul. Mixed with Mauriello's modern electro-pop production, the result was a recipe for catchiness. Kiddoo and Mauriello are currently working on more music and exciting new sounds.
