BONDI est le nouveau projet du contrebassiste et compositeur argentin Ignacio Santoro.
À la croisée du jazz contemporain et d’influences urbaines, sa musique reflète ses racines à Buenos Aires et son parcours dans la scène jazz européenne. Entre mélodie, rythme et improvisation, BONDI évoque le mouvement, la nostalgie et la réinvention—son nom signifiant « bus » dans l’argot de Buenos Aires.

Ignacio Santoro Biography
Double Bass player and composer, born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After 10 years of living in The Netherlands, 2023 finds him starting a new chapter in Paris. You will find him serving low notes in different projects and bands around Europe. He has shared stages with artists like Chris Cheek, Jef Neve, Reinier Baas, Alba Careta Quintet, Andrew D'Angelo and many other upcoming musicians from Europe and Argentina. As a composer and bandleader, he is busy bringing out his vision of jazz and modern music. He released two albums under his name, Three Kinds of Loneliness (3kl), and BONDI. Ignacio holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Jazz Performance (Double Bass) from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, where he studied with Clemens Van Der Feen and Tony Overwater. He also obtained a Minor Degree in Early Music studies under the tutorship of Maggie Urquhart (Violone).
